ITS is Proud to Participate in the Ontario/Quebec LCV Program

ITS is pleased to announce their expanded participation in the LCV (long combination vehicle) program along the 401 Corridor between Quebec City and Toronto. Only select carriers have been chosen to run the combination 53’ trailers and ITS has been part of the program since March of 2010. With additional LCVs being added, ITS is completing the training of additional drivers to run the specialized LCV fleet.

The advantages of the LCV program include maximizing driver resources, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving fuel economy. Although there are strict regulations in hauling these extended rigs, the benefits far outweigh the due diligence and restrictions associated with being an LCV carrier.
